Wow, where do I start when there is so much to tell? Guess I better keep it simple; no need for a novel here....
I did a Chuck Norris joke once. Just once.
With my shoes on, Im 5'3". With my shoes off.........I'm 5'3" :D
As a child, I used to chew on pennies. Which probably explains a lot....
My cat almost killed me like 3-4 times since January. But the year is still early.
I am the mortal enemy of okra.
My humor is so dry, cactus love me. Canada on the other hand......
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
Here are a few other things you should know about me and how I work so you can make an informed decision.....after all, it is your time and your money; best to know in advance what you will be getting than to get caught by surprise.
I expect that we have a few conversations in advance. It helps me figure out how I can help you, and will help you figure out if I am a good fit for your actor headshot needs.
My headshots are uncomplicated. There's no fancy actions, settings, filters or any of that other BS. Just simple images that I expect to get you noticed.
I primarily use constant light for my actor headshot sessions. Folks tend to stiffen up and "reset" themselves when they see or think they are going to get flashed. I don't want you to reset; I want you to be relaxed. This is how I am able to get those unbeatable headshots.
I do actor headshot sessions in my home studio in Crown Heights Brooklyn. However, I can come to your location if that is preferable to you, and provided it's a controlled indoor environment. Please note I charge a non refundable location fee for sessions done outside my home studio.
I like 2 weeks advance notice prior to doing the actor headshot session. If you prefer to do this at your location, there is no need for the 2 week advance. Keep in mind again the non refundable location fee for any sessions done outside my home studio.
When it comes to coaching actors for their headshots, I'm part talk show host, part professor, and part drill sergeant. I will be very open with you; you will know when you are doing good, and when you are slipping. I will treat you very professionally, and with love; not that squishy romantic kind of love, but out of my personal passion to see you be successful. Again, it's your money; better to spend it on someone that will give what you need, vs spending on someone that will not care one way or the other so long they get paid.
Finally, I do sessions only on Fridays from 1pm to 7pm until further notice.
So who should come to me so that I may serve them?
Well, if you're into acting, can take constructive criticism, serious about investing in your career, willing to put in the work to make sure that you are successful, and ideally, you live in Crown Heights Brooklyn, then I'm your actor headshot photographer.
And, if by some chance you are not happy with the results, I'll be more than happy to give you a refund, less your reservation fee……
…… Let me say that again .....
if you're not happy with the results, I will refund your money less the reservation fee.
Now, I don't know any other actor headshot photographer who is willing to do that. But that's how confident I am in the results that you will get.
Can I guarantee that a casting director will give you an audition even with such unstoppable actor headshots? No, I can't. There's quite a few variables in that situation. What I can guarantee, is that the images that you get from me will be superior to the crap that you might have had to deal with in the past. And if I am the first headshot photographer that you've actually hired, I can promise you that you'll get a lot of value from me.
So now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's talk about the pricing……
